Duties & responsibilities:
- Preparation of company, individual, partnership, trust, and SMSF tax returns
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual BAS/IAS returns
- Preparation of financial statements
- Management accounting, AP, AR, Bank Reconciliations, and payroll
- Liaise with the ATO as required by clients
- Provide taxation advice in communications with clients
- Other general administrative tasks where required
- Direct contact with clients for various business and tax matters
Qualifications & experience:
- Have completed or are completing a bachelor's degree within six months
- Be willing to develop skills and engage in a future study to progress to CA status
- GPA above 5.0
- Possess a friendly personality and excellent communication skills, with a good command of written and spoken English.
- Excellent attention to detail, self-initiative, and motivation
- Tech savvy and familiar with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Xero software (not essential but advantageous)
